TVU – From September 4-6, 2024, the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA) conducts an external assessment of four academic programs at Tra Vinh University (TVU). The programs under evaluation include the Master’s in Education Management, Master’s in Health Management, Bachelor’s in Office Administration, and Bachelor’s in Sports Management.
The assessment team is led by Mr. Marco Haid, Project Manager, and includes professors and scientists from prestigious universities in Europe and Vietnam.
Associate Professor Dr. Diep Thanh Tung, Vice-Rector of TVU, emphasizes the university’s focus on training quality at the opening session. He states that TVU’s programs are regularly updated to meet labor market demands and employer requirements by equipping students with relevant knowledge, skills, and self-learning abilities for domestic and international work environments. Dr. Diep Thanh Tung views the FIBAA standards as a foundation for TVU to enhance its training quality and management practices.
TVU’s recent success in achieving FIBAA accreditation for several programs underscores the university’s commitment to continuously ensuring and improving educational quality. This accreditation is expected to increase student benefits, including credit recognition and transfer, eligibility for higher education at world-renowned universities, and enhanced job opportunities in developed countries.
Mr. Marco Haid explains that FIBAA is a quality assurance organization for educational programs in management, economics, and sports management, adhering to European standards. FIBAA aims to accredit, evaluate, and develop educational programs worldwide to ensure higher education transparency, quality, and internationalization.
Following a thorough review of documentation and assessment of criteria, the evaluation team will synthesize member opinions and provide objective, authentic evaluations. They will also identify areas for improvement in the operation and development of the training programs. TVU will be able to supplement information if necessary, and official results will be announced to the university according to the evaluation process.
This external assessment by FIBAA represents a significant step in TVU’s ongoing efforts to align its academic offerings with international standards and enhance its global recognition in higher education.
