FIBAA conducts the second-phase evaluation for four undergraduate programs at Tra Vinh University

TVU – March 19, 2025 – Tra Vinh University (TVU) is conducting an external evaluation (Phase 2) for four undergraduate programs in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, and Finance-Banking, adhering to the international accreditation standards set by FIBAA.

At the opening session, the FIBAA evaluation team includes Ms. Maya Köhler, Project Manager, and professors and researchers from prestigious European and Vietnamese universities. Representing TVU are Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, TVU Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Nguyen, Dean of the College of Economics and Law (CEL); Dr. Nguyen Tan Dat, CEL Vice Dean; and leaders from faculties, departments, and student representatives.

In his opening remarks, Rector Nguyen Minh Hoa emphasizes that international accreditation enhances teaching quality and provides students access to global educational benchmarks. He hopes for objective feedback and actionable recommendations from FIBAA to strengthen TVU’s strengths and address existing challenges.

Dr. Nguyen Tan Dat, CEL Vice Dean, briefly presents the programs’ structure, objectives, and strategic alignment under review. 

Ms. Maya Köhler highlights FIBAA’s role as a Swiss-based accreditation body specializing in management, economics, and business programs. She underscores FIBAA’s mission to ensure transparency, quality, and internationalization in higher education and thanks TVU for its hospitality.

 

The FIBAA team reviews documentation and interviews faculty leaders, lecturers, students, and alumni across key areas: Program structure and content, recruitment and faculty development, student support services, alumni engagement, international collaboration, financial management, quality assurance mechanisms, and infrastructure.
