(TVU) – On August 31, 2023, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, Rector of Tra Vinh University and a delegation visits the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand. The two sides continue discussing the promotion of cooperation in research, training and education development.
The Tra Vinh University delegation was welcomed by Prof. Shobhakar Dhakal, Vice President of AIT; Prof. Sangam Shrestha, Head of the School of Engineering and Technology; Dr. P. Abdul Salam, Head of the School of Environment, Resources and Development; Dr. Sumana Shrestha, Director of External Relations; and AIT faculty members.
The two sides discussed enhancing cooperation between AIT-Thailand, AIT-Vietnam and TVU, providing training and scientific research to develop human resources for Tra Vinh province and the Mekong Delta in the fields of engineering, technology, environmental management, agriculture, aquaculture, climate change adaptation, and business.
