(TVU) – The College of Medicine and Pharmacy (CMP) at Tra Vinh University holds a white coat ceremony for nursing students of class 2023 on March 27. The event marks a significant milestone in their educational journey and symbolizes their growth in healthcare.
The ceremony welcomes distinguished guests including Nursing Specialist I Ha Thi Thanh Ha, Head of Nursing Department at Tra Vinh General Hospital, and Master Tran Thi Tra Mi, Head of Nursing Department at Tra Vinh Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital.
From CMP’s leadership, Distinguished Teacher, Professor, Dr. Ta Van Tram, Director of Tien Giang General Hospital and Rector of CMP, attends the ceremony along with Master Vu Thi Dao, Vice Head of Medical Skills Training Department; Master Huynh To Nhu, Lecturer of Medical Imaging Department; Dr. Huynh Thi Hong Thu, Head of Nursing Department; and Dr. Nguyen Van Trung, Vice Head of Nursing Department.
In his opening speech, Professor Ta Van Tram congratulates the students and emphasizes the vital role of nursing in healthcare. He stresses that nursing requires strong professional knowledge and compassion for patients. He hopes that students will maintain their dedication to learning and training to become high-quality healthcare professionals.
Mr. Ngo Le Hoang Giang, Vice Head of the Clinical Nursing Department, explains regulations and guidelines for clinical practice activities, helping students prepare for their hospital experiences.
Ms. Huynh Kieu Nhi, a Nursing Class 2023 student, represents 228 nursing students expressing gratitude to the faculty and partner hospitals. She commits to studying and practising diligently to become a skilled, dedicated nurse serving the community.
