Tra Vinh University works with Gadjah Mada University – Indonesia

TVU – On the morning of August 19th, School of Agriculture and Aquaculture, Tra Vinh University meets and works with Faculty of Animal Husbandry- Gadjah Mada University (Indonesia). The delegation’s working visit is a part of the memorandum of cooperation between Tra Vinh University and Gadjah Mada University – Indonesia, signed in December 2022.

The working delegation has Prof. Dr. Budi Guntoro – Dean of Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia, and Mrs. Noemi Liangco – Director of Amancio Nicolas Agri-Tourism Academy, Inc., Philippines.

On the side of Tra Vinh University has Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ly Thi Thu Lan – Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Aquaculture, Mr. Nguyen Van Vui – Deputy Head of the Animal Husbandry Department, and the participation of the school’s lecturers and students.

During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Budi Guntoro introduces extracurricular internship activities, scholarship policies, and short-term and long-term student exchange programs at Gadjah Mada University to the students and lecturers of Tra Vinh University. Both parties agree to collaborate and implement the agreed-upon activities.

On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ly Thi Thu Lan expresses her gratitude and highly appreciates the past period’s cooperative relationship between Tra Vinh University and Gadjah Mada University (Indonesia). Student exchange programs have provided favorable conditions for students to access opportunities for learning, research, knowledge enhancement, skill development, exploration, and practical experience.

School of Agriculture and Aquaculture, Tra Vinh University) has allowed students to participate in an internship program at Gadjah Mada University as part of the student exchange program. The students highly appreciate the benefits of the program.

Nguyen Khoa Nam, a student in Veterinary course 2021, stated that during his one-week participation in the student exchange program at Gadjah Mada University in Indonesia, he had access to modern facilities and advanced livestock farming technologies from the host country. This journey was an exciting and practical learning experience for him.
