TVU – On September 26-27, Prof. Dr. Tomas Benz from Heilbronn University, Federal Republic of Germany paid a working visit to Tra Vinh University and interacted with students. He was welcomed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Diep Thanh Tung, Vice Rector of Tra Vinh University, and leaders of university departments.
The purpose of Prof. Dr. Tomas Benz’s visit to Tra Vinh University was to explore cooperation opportunities in training, research and student-faculty exchange.
He shared that Heilbronn University, one of the leading universities in Germany with over 60 years of development, provides many undergraduate and postgraduate programs and has many promising areas that can collaborate with Tra Vinh University.
According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Diep Thanh Tung, Vice-Rector of Tra Vinh University, the cooperation with Heilbronn University, Germany is an opportunity for Tra Vinh University’s students and lecturers to access advanced global education, new teaching methods, thereby improving the quality of training and research.
During the visit on September 27, Prof. Dr. Tomas Benz directly interacted with over 50 students of the Faculties of Medicine, Engineering and Technology, Economics and Law. Here, he introduced internship and research programs at Heilbronn University and shared experiences of studying and researching in Germany as well as exchanged and answered students’ questions.
