Tra Vinh University works with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, Kingdom of Cambodia

TVU – On December 27, the working delegation of Tra Vinh University led by Associate Professor Thach Thi Dan, Vice Rector, visits and works with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, Kingdom of Cambodia.

Welcoming the delegation, there are Mr. Touch Visalsok, Minister of Education, Youth and Sports and representatives of specialized departments.

On Tra Vinh University’s side are Associate Professor Thach Thi Dan, Vice Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Nguyen, Rector of School of Economics and Law; Dr. Ngo So Phe, Rector of School of Southern Khmer Language – Culture – Arts and Humanity; Dr. Huynh My Phuong, Head of Pre-University Faculty; Dr. Tran Kim Khanh, Deputy Head of Assessment Department; Dr. Truong Thi Thu Hien, Deputy Director of Tra Vinh University Hospital; Ms. Chau Thi Truc Ly, Chief of TVU Council Office; and Department of International Cooperation and International Admissions Office.

At the meeting, Mr. Touch Visalsok, Minister of Education, Youth and Sports sends greetings to the visiting delegation and thanks Tra Vinh University for granting many scholarships for Cambodian students to study at Tra Vinh University, especially in health sciences. The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports always supports Tra Vinh University to expand cooperation with institutes and universities in Cambodia in training, scientific research, enrollment, and Vietnamese teaching.

On this occasion, Dr. Thach Thi Dan, Vice Rector thanks Mr. Touch Visalsok, Minister of Education, Youth and Sports for taking the time to receive the delegation and always supporting Tra Vinh University recently. The Vice Rector hopes that the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports will continue to assist the University in career orientation and enrollment, and help the University connect with Provincial Departments of Education, Youth and Sports to carry out career orientation for students. In the coming time, the University wishes to establish a representative office of Tra Vinh University in Phnom Penh, strengthen cooperation with partners and open Vietnamese language classes in Cambodia.

Currently, nearly 100 Cambodian students are studying at Tra Vinh University in health, engineering, agriculture – aquaculture, economics, etc. Through this visit, the University hopes to develop cooperative relations with partners in Cambodia in training, scientific research, technology transfer, etc., attracting more Cambodian students to study at Tra Vinh University, and contributing to training quality human resources for Cambodia.

On this occasion, Associate Professor Thach Thi Dan, Vice Rector invites Mr. Touch Visalsok, Minister of Education, Youth and Sports to visit and work at Tra Vinh University any time.
