TVU – On September 3, the College of Economics and Law (CEL) at Tra Vinh University organizes a workshop titled “Joining Hands to Create Solutions for Improving Higher Education Quality.” The event attracts a large number of experts, lecturers, and delegates from various organizations within and outside the province.
Attendees include Dr. Thach Phuoc Binh, a National Assembly Delegate from Vinh Long Province; Dr. Pham Thi Gam Nhung from An Giang Power Company; and several experts from the College of Economics and Law, such as Dr. Cao Vinh Loc, Dr. Nguyen Trong Nghia, Dr. Le Huyen Ngoc, Dr. Dang My Chau, Dr. Doan Ngoc Pha, and Dr. Nguyen Van Luong. The leadership of the CEL, including the Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Nguyen and Vice-Rectors Dr. Huynh Thi Truc Linh, Dr. Nguyen Tan Dat, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hung are also present, along with lecturers and researchers from the college.

In his opening speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Nguyen, Rector of the College of Economics and Law, emphasizes that the workshop serves as a vital forum for sharing and discussing innovative ideas in teaching, training, and educational management. He states that every contribution will provide a solid foundation for the college to enhance its quality and affirm its position in Vietnam’s higher education system.

During the workshop, delegates discuss a range of topics, including the innovation of training programs and teaching methods, and the improvement of practical, research, and application skills for students. They also explore the development of foreign language proficiency, critical thinking, presentation, and scientific research abilities. The application of digital technology and artificial intelligence (AI) in teaching and learning is a key point of discussion, along with the expansion of international training cooperation and faculty capacity building. Additionally, participants stress the importance of creating student-centered policies, improving student support services, enhancing learning resources, and attracting high-quality human resources to the college.
The workshop provides an opportunity to review current practices and shape strategic directions for higher education development at the College of Economics and Law. It creates a practical space for academic exchange, setting the stage for significant improvements in training quality and aiming for sustainable development and comprehensive integration.
