TVU and Van Phuc City Hospital forge strategic healthcare partnership

On August 7, 2025, Tra Vinh University had the honor of welcoming a delegation from Van Phuc City Hospital, a subsidiary of Van Phuc City Hospital Corporation (Ho Chi Minh City), to explore opportunities for collaboration in the healthcare sector.

The meeting was held in the WS3 meeting room, bringing together leadership from both institutions. The Van Phuc City Hospital delegation was led by Dr. Dao Canh Tuat, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and included Dr. Vu Mong Tuyet, General Director; Dr. Nguyen Van Minh, Specialist Director; Dr. Dao Nguyen, Deputy Specialist Director and Head of the General Planning Department; as well as Dr. Dao Danh Dung and Mr. Tran Anh Kiet, assistants to the General Director.

Representing Tra Vinh University were Dr. Phan Quoc Nghia, Vice Rector; Dr. Huynh Thi Hong Thu, Vice Rector of the College of Medicine and Pharmacy (CMP); along with representatives from the Resource Development Institute, the Center of Human Resource Training in Health, the CMP Office, and other relevant departments.

The discussions centered on strategic collaboration, particularly in the areas of training and research aimed at developing high-quality human resources for the healthcare sector. Both sides expressed a strong commitment to fostering a mutually beneficial partnership.

This visit marks an important milestone in building a long-term relationship between Tra Vinh University and Van Phuc City Hospital. The anticipated collaboration is expected to enhance the quality of education and open up expanded career opportunities for students in medicine and pharmacy.
