(TVU) – On November 18th, 2018, Tra Vinh University (TVU) school of Southern Khmer Language, Culture and Arts successfully organized the two cultural events “Vietnamese Teacher’s Day” and “Ok Om Bok festival” with the great participation of its faculty members and students. TVU Vice Rector Thach Thi Dan attended these cultural events.
The activities, which were taking place for the whole day, consisted of various original performances to celebrate the moon worship ritual of Khmer people and to express gratitude to teachers who are dedicated to their teaching.
Huu Bao Tran, TVU sophomore expressed: “We are really emotional through each performance. These activities are very meaningful as they bring us a wonderful opportunity to show our respect and gratitude to our teachers.”
