The new set of criteria of quality assessment issued by Ministry of Education and Training includes 25 standards with 111 criteria, according to four areas including strategic quality assurance, system quality assurance, quality assurance on performing functions (training, scientific research, community service), and performance results.
The four degree programs accredited by FIBAA include accounting, business administration, economics, and finance – banking.
Up to present, TVU has had six training programs to be accredited based on international quality accreditation standards. Furthermore, the university commits to gradually standardize training programs based on international quality. Namely, TVU is planning to be assessed on the programs of engineering and technology based on ABET standards.
ASEAN University Network (AUN)
ASEAN University Network (AUN) recognizes the importance of quality in higher education, and the need to develop a holistic quality assurance system to raise academic standards and enhance education, research and service among its member universities. In 1998, it mooted the AUN-QA Network which led to the development of AUN-QA models.
