TVU – On January 21, in the joyful atmosphere celebrating the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 – February 3, 2026) and welcoming the Lunar New Year, Tra Vinh University, in coordination with the People’s Committee of Truong Long Hoa Ward, is organizing a visit and gift-giving program for policy families and people with meritorious service to the revolution in the area.
The event is being attended by Mr. Lâm Văn Chúc, Member of the Ward Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Truong Long Hoa Ward, along with representatives of local departments and agencies, as well as policy families.
Representing Tra Vinh University (TVU) are Dr. Thạch Thị Dân, Vice Rector, and Ms. Quách Thị Vũ Huệ, Head of the Party Committee’s Publicity and Mass Mobilization Division, together with leaders of the university’s affiliated units.

At the program, Dr. Thạch Thị Dân says this is an annual activity expressing deep gratitude for the sacrifices and significant contributions of policy families to the struggle for national liberation, as well as to the cause of national construction and defense.
On this occasion, 30 gift packages, with a total value of VND 15,000,000, are being presented to policy households. The activity reflects close coordination between the university and local authorities in providing timely encouragement, sharing difficulties, and caring for the material and spiritual well-being of residents.
Representing the policy families, Mr. Huỳnh Văn Nam expressed his deep emotion and appreciation for the attention and support from the university and the local government. Meanwhile, Mr. Lâm Văn Chúc is extending sincere thanks to the leadership, staff, and students of Tra Vinh University for their long-standing support and companionship with the locality in social welfare activities over the years.
