TVU – The 31st National Mathematical Olympiad for university and high school students, organized by the Vietnam Mathematical Society, took place at Saigon University from March 31 to April 5, 2025.
The competition attracted 649 students from 90 universities and academies across Vietnam. Tra Vinh University (TVU) sent a team of 07 students to participate in the Algebra and Calculus categories.
Beyond a competition, the 31st National Mathematical Olympiad for university and high school students provided an academic and healthy playground for all competitors and encouraged the study of mathematics. Moreover, the event played a crucial role in improving the quality of teaching and learning Maths and identifying and nurturing talented students in mathematics.
TVU students successfully tackled the Olympiad’s challenges and demonstrated remarkable confidence, determination, and resilience. This effort culminated in Kieu Gia Thinh (Information Technology, class of 2022) securing a Third Prize in Algebra and Duong Huu Minh (Information Technology, class of 2024) earning a Consolation Prize in Calculus.
