(TVU) – At the end of July, 2018, TVU Vice Rector Thach Thi Dan had a visit to students who have participated in Summer Volunteer Campaign in districts of Tra Vinh province.
Nguyen Toan Phu, TVU student said: “At first, some of us had much difficulty due to not being familiar with living conditions here. Thanks to the encouragement from the group members as well as from the university and the local community, all of us have soon adapted to the new living environment.”
“TVU students in this voluntary summer campaign have done a lot of practical and meaningful activities, especially teaching English for more than 100 local children, which have received appreciation from the local people. I expect that they will continue to contribute to the development of our rural area”, said Tang Tung Chan, Deputy Secretary of Tra Cu District Youth Union.
The Vice Rector expressed her gratitude to the students, local government and people in providing support to TVU students for their voluntary work in the local communities.
