TVU welcomes USSH-VNUHCM delegation to explore academic partnerships

TVU – Tra Vinh University welcomes a distinguished delegation from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City (USSH-VNUHCM), in a significant meeting to foster collaboration in teaching, curriculum development, and scientific research.

TVU’s leadership team, spearheaded by Dr. Nguyen Tien Dung, Vice Chairman of the Advisory Council and former Vice Rector, along with Dr. Le Thuy Hang, Dean of the School of Political Theory, hosts the visiting delegation comprising Dr. Vo Chau Thinh, Vice Dean, Dr. Truong Trong Hieu, Lecturer, and 42 first-year philosophy students from USSH-VNUHCM.

In his presentation to the visitors, TVU’s Dr. Nguyen Tien Dung showcases the university’s impressive growth trajectory and its strategic focus on applied education, highlighting TVU’s vital role in developing skilled workforce solutions for Tra Vinh province and the broader Mekong Delta region.

TVU demonstrates its comprehensive facilities through a campus tour featuring the College of Southern Khmer Language – Culture – Arts and Humanities, the Center of Excellence in Learning Resources and Innovation, and the university’s advanced agricultural installations, including the net house and Makapuno coconut garden at the School of Agriculture and Aquaculture.

During the exchange, USSH-VNUHCM’s Dr. Vo Chau Thinh appreciated TVU’s hospitality and proposed potential areas for future collaboration.

This strategic meeting at TVU’s campus creates valuable opportunities for knowledge exchange between schools and students of both universities, reinforcing TVU’s commitment to fostering strong academic partnerships within Vietnam’s higher education community.

   

The successful hosting of this delegation underscores TVU’s growing prominence as a key educational institution in the Mekong Delta region and its dedication to expanding academic networks across Vietnam.
