TVU Youth Union held the festival for camping and the meeting to welcome 81st anniversary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26th, 1931-March 26th, 2012)

On March 24th and 25th, 2012, TVU held the festival for camping in order to educate TVU youth about the solidarity, creativity, professional exchange and to create a good entertainment environment for TVU students. It attracted 4,000 TVU students with 70 camps and one food stand with countryside food.

In the evening of March 24th, 2012, the meting to welcome 81st anniversary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26th, 1931-March 26th, 1012) was held with the attendance of representatives from Tra Vinh Youth Union and companies sponsoring scholarships for TVU students. The meeting also welcomed the participation of Mr Tran Hoan Kim, ex- president of Tra Vinh People’s Committee, president of TVU Advisory Council, Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh- Rector of TVU, Mr.Vo Hoang Khai- Vice Rector of TVU, Mr. Nguyen Phi Cong- secretary of TVU Youth and thousands of TVU students.

On this occasion, Mr. Nguyen Phi Cong reviewed the glorious tradition of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union over 81 years.

In his speech at the meeting, Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh gave compliment for TVU Youth Union and hoped that they would get more achievements in scientific research for the development of their country.

Mr. Tran Hoan Kim also encouraged TVU Youth members to unite, to strive their best, to be confident and creativity to be good citizens.

At the meeting, 15 good youth members were proud to be the Party members. On behalf of TVU students, Ms. Nguyen Thi My Tien- a student of class Business Administration 2008 promised to study well and especially will try to get good soft skills before graduating. And Mr. Pham Hai Dang- Ex-Secretary of TVU Youth Union, Mr. Phan Huu Phuc- Vice secretary of TVU Youth Union was awarded “memorial medal for the youth generation”. Mr. Nguyen Van Thuy- student of class DA09QKD was awarded for the movement “ 5 volunteers, 4 cooperation”. At the meeting, the sponsors gave 25 scholarships for 25 needy students with good scores and good achievements in Youth movement.

After the meeting, a few contests were held such as “Beauty Contest”, “Fashion Show”, “Dancing Show”. Finally, students gathered to play in the bonfire of the camping.
