An overseas employment counseling and orientation program for students, one of the key activities within the framework of the 2025 TVU Job Fair, was organized on the morning of November 15, attracting over 22 businesses and a large number of students.
The event featured Ms. Ngo Ha Thu, Business Director of Viet Phat Human Resources Development JSC; Mr. Dang Minh Thuong, CEO of Viet Duc Human Resources Development JSC under EI Education and Investment Group (EI Group); Mr. Tran Van Thien, Admissions Director of Viet Duc Human Resources Development JSC; and Mr. Huynh Ngoc Khoan, Deputy CEO of Viet International Human Resources JSC (Vilaco), among others.
From Tra Vinh University, the event was attended by Dr. Thach Thi Dan, Vice Rector, Mr. Nguyen Phi Cong, Director of the Center of Career, along with leaders of various units.

Dr. Thach Thi Dan expressed appreciation to the delegates and businesses for their continued support in guiding students toward career development, helping them build confidence and integrate into the global workforce.
She emphasized that career orientation should not be limited to the domestic labor market but must align with global trends. Opportunities in developed countries offer students valuable environments to improve their expertise, foreign language skills, and professional work ethics while earning stable incomes. She affirmed that Tra Vinh University will continue to expand partnerships with enterprises to bring more practical forums and seminars to students.

The program gathered reputable organizations specializing in overseas human resource training and deployment, such as Viet Phat Human Resources Development JSC; Viet Duc Human Resources Development JSC under EI Group; and Vilaco. These companies have years of experience sending thousands of Vietnamese workers to major destinations including Japan, South Korea, Germany, and several European countries.

Sharing insights into the overseas labor market, Ms. Ngo Ha Thu provided an overview of recruitment demand in Japan and South Korea across sectors such as engineering, technology, food processing, and caregiving. She emphasized the importance of foreign language proficiency—especially Japanese and Korean—and offered practical advice to help students prepare for selection processes.

Discussing labor opportunities in Europe, Mr. Huynh Ngoc Khoan highlighted the continent’s strong demand for young workers in fields such as caregiving, mechanical welding, construction, food processing, and agriculture. He also outlined requirements regarding health, qualifications, application procedures, and support policies for workers during their employment abroad.

Mr. Dang Minh Thuong, CEO of Viet Duc Human Resources Development JSC, shared information on Germany’s dual vocational training programs, drawing significant interest from students in language studies, technology, and health sciences. He emphasized the program’s practical nature—combining study with paid on-the-job training—and noted that it offers strong prospects for long-term settlement for those who meet the conditions.

During the event, students raised questions concerning participation costs, language requirements, living conditions abroad, actual income levels, worker protection policies, and career prospects upon returning to Vietnam. Company representatives addressed each concern clearly and thoroughly, helping students gain a realistic and comprehensive understanding of overseas employment.
In closing, Mr. Nguyen Phi Cong, Director of the Center of Career, acknowledged the valuable contributions from the businesses and reaffirmed the Center’s commitment to serving as a reliable bridge between students and employers. He emphasized that TVU will continue to create diverse, safe, and suitable employment opportunities tailored to students’ abilities.
