TVU – Tra Vinh University recently held a reception for Tran Cong Chanh, former Secretary of the Party Committee and former Rector of Bac Lieu College of Technology and Economics, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Thi, Vice Rector of the college, along with their delegation.
As part of the visit, Dr. Tran Cong Chanh presented the university with a valuable collection titled “Mind Map Sketches,” contributing to the enrichment of the learning ecosystem at Tra Vinh University.
The reception was attended by representatives of the university’s Board of Rectors, the Resource Development Institute (an affiliated training unit), and the Center for Excellence in Learning Resources and Academic Support, which serves as the receiving unit for the Mind Map collection.

During the working session, the delegation officially handed over the Mind Map Sketches collection to the Center for Excellence in Learning Resources and Academic Support. The materials are expected to effectively support learning and research activities while fostering critical thinking skills among both students and lecturers. With its scientific structure and visually organized presentation of knowledge, the collection helps enhance self-study efficiency and encourages active learning approaches within the academic environment.

Meritorious Teacher Dr. Tran Cong Chanh, author of the Mind Map Sketches, shared that the donation was made with the aspiration of contributing to the learning ecosystem for students and faculty members. The collection includes 60 works categorized into four ideological groups, and he expressed hope that learners and educators would explore the materials, develop new insights, and expand ideas based on them.

Representing Tra Vinh University, Vice Rector Phan Quoc Nghia expressed sincere appreciation to Dr. Tran Cong Chanh and the visiting delegation. He emphasized that this meaningful support carries significant value for the university and affirmed that Tra Vinh University will effectively utilize the donated materials to support teaching and learning activities.
Beyond the symbolic donation, the event illustrates a broader principle within academia: knowledge ecosystems grow through sharing. When educational institutions exchange intellectual resources—books, teaching models, research tools—the cumulative effect strengthens teaching quality and expands the intellectual horizon of students and faculty alike.
Through engagements like this, Tra Vinh University continues to reinforce collaboration among educational institutions while advancing its long-term commitment to improving academic quality and pursuing sustainable development.
