(TVU) – On the evening of March 19, 2022, the School of Foreign Languages organized the 18th annual musical night Get Together with the topic “Twenties, Twenties, The Yellow of Springtime” to celebrate the success of the 4th Youth Union Congress Term 2022 – 2024 of the School of Foreign Languages and the 91st founding anniversary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – March 26, 2022).
The well-prepared event attracted the participation of leaders, lecturers and a large number of students of the School of Foreign Languages as well as alumni and volunteers.
At the opening speech, Assoc. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh, Rector of TVU said: “Get Together is a meaningful annual musical night of the School of Foreign Languages as this is a great opportunity for students and lecturers to learn from each other through preparing and performing.”
Get Together is a traditional music show of the School of Foreign Languages, with the aim of creating conditions and a healthy playground for students to display their knowledge and talents, as well as attracting students across the university to attend and interact. The Get Together musical night with the topic “Twenties, Twenties, The Yellow of Springtime” showed the aspirations, ambitions, enthusiasm and passion of the youth in their twenties.
The event brought to the audience many modern songs, dances, and fashion shows in different languages such as English, French, and Chinese. These performances represented the talents and skills that have been accumulated during the study process of TVU students. Besides, this was also an opportunity for students of the School of Foreign Languages to introduce their own cultures to international friends.
Le Thi Cam Tu, a student of the English Language class of 2020, shared: “Immersed in the joyful and vibrant atmosphere of the concert night, I feel happy to be a student of the School of Foreign Languages as this event brought us beautiful memories.”
The event transfers many positive messages to everyone. The musical night ended with a fashion show that revealed traditional costumes of several countries around the world, making the atmosphere even more exciting than ever. This is also a promise for better performances next year.
