The Local Union of Tra V inh University (TVU) had a meeting to celebrate Khmer’s New Year Chol Chnam Thmay for over 80 staff and teachers working at TVU. The distinguished guests invited to the meeting were MA Nguyen Tien Dung – Deputy of TVU Party Committee Secretary and Vice Principal, Mr. Nguyen Chinh – Deputy of TVU Party Committee Secretary, and Chairman of the Local Union concurrently, MA Nguyen Thi Bach Van, Ms Tieu Ngoc Linh – Vice Chairman of the Local Union, representatives of other departments of TVU and Khmer office staff and teachers. On this occasion, on the half of Party Committee and the Rector, MA Nguyen Tien Dung sent the warmest regards Khmer office and teaching staff and their families with a Chol Chnam Thmay of enjoyment and happiness and so on.
As a really significant exchange indicating the concerns from the Party Committee, the Rector and the Local Union in order to strengthen mutual solidarity, the meetinng provided the staff and teachers with an opportunity to exchange and share working and life experience and to wish a happy Khmer new year as well. This was one of the annual activities held by the Local Union of TVU to follow guidelines of the Party, policies and laws of the government in caring mental lives of TVU’s employees. Hopefully, this was to make more motivation for Khmer teachers to welcome a cozy Chol Chnam Thmay with their families and always complete their duties contributing to development of TVU.
