Awarding 30 scholarships to high school students for overcoming adversity

In the series of career orientation and admission counseling activities in May, the School of Agriculture and Aquaculture of Tra Vinh University coordinated with sponsors on offering gifts and scholarships to high school students in Tra Vinh province.

The total value of the scholarships sponsored by VIBO Co., Ltd., CP Vietnam Livestock JSC, and Tam Viet Seafood Co., Ltd. is up to 30 million VND. The scholarships were offered to 30 students studying at Long Huu High School (Duyen Hai), Dai An High School (Tra Cu), and Hoa Minh High School (Chau Thanh). Each school was awarded 10 million VND for 10 students who have overcome difficulties to study well.

Mr. Nguyen Van Tho, Vice Dean of the School of Agriculture and Aquaculture, said that Tra Vinh University has been and will always support students who have tried their utmost to overcome adversity and gain good results, and at the same time pay attention to improving the training quality through strengthening the relationship between the university and businesses so students can gain the best professional qualifications and career opportunities. He also extended his thanks to the sponsors for always supporting education in the province.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Dung, HR Manager of CP Vietnam Livestock JSC, hoped that students would never stop studying, be confident in choosing their major to be able to find a suitable job in the future, and contribute to developing their homeland.
