On November 8, 2025, Tra Vinh University held the Closing Ceremony of the “Startup Idea Incubation” program at the Vinh Long Business Incubator. The program is not only an occasion to summarize and award certificates to students who have completed the course, but also an opportunity for students to demonstrate their potential startup ideas and connect with the Jury of startup competitions at all levels, investors, mentors, and the startup community.
The program attracted the attention and sharing of experts in the field of Supporting Innovative Startups. On the side of the Startup Advisory Council of Vinh Long Province, Mr. Nguyen Van Tien – Director of Nong Thinh Agricultural Supplies Store Chain, serves as the Chairman of the Council; MSc. Vo Le Nhu Ngoc – Chairman of the Board of Members and Business Director of Seplabeo Trading & Service Co., Ltd., is a Member of the Council; and other members, including: MSc. Le Hong Thai – Deputy Director of Nam A Commercial Joint Stock Bank – Ben Tre Branch; Advisor of Ben Tre Stationery Company Limited, and MSc. Pham Quang Kiet – Lecturer of the Faculty of Tourism, Restaurant and Hotel Management. On the side of Tra Vinh University, there were MSc. Nguyen Van Vu An – Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and Director of the Vinh Long Provincial Business Incubator; MSc. Le Thi Hong Rang – Specialist of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship of Tra Vinh University, Co-founder of the Creative Student Community of the Mekong Delta Region; MSc. Tang Tan Minh – Member of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship of Tra Vinh University, Co-Head of the Creative Student Village of the Mekong Delta Region.
After more than 2 months of intensive training, the “Startup Idea Incubation” Program offers a systematic training path with practical lessons, helping to comprehensively develop the necessary skills in starting a business. Students are equipped with the knowledge to build a business model, from incubating ideas and finding teammates to identifying target customers and effective distribution channels. In addition, the program also provides essential skills, such as building marketing strategies, financial management, and, especially, pitching skills (capital calling presentations) to attract investors. Students are also guided on how to apply digital transformation tools, optimize workflows, and develop products in the digital age.
On this occasion, Master Nguyen Van Vu An, Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Director of the Tra Vinh Provincial Business Incubator, shared about pitching skills (capital calling presentations). He helps students understand how to present their startup ideas impressively and effectively, from identifying problems and solutions to attracting the attention of investors. With practical presentation strategies and tips, the expert has equipped students with essential skills to confidently and convincingly present their startup projects, opening up opportunities to connect with investors and develop projects in the future.
After completing the program, Ho Minh Nhat, a student of the Office Management University Class B, class of 2025, shared: “The program not only provides knowledge about business models, marketing, and finance, but also helps students improve their presentation skills to raise capital, helping them confidently present their ideas and better understand how to develop and perfect products. The sessions connecting with mentors and investors are valuable opportunities to help ideas expand their relationships and orient more clearly for the upcoming journey of realizing their ideas.”
Representative of the Program Organizing Committee, Master Nguyen Van Vu An, Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Director of Vinh Long Business Incubator, said: “The program brings many practical values to students. Hopefully, they will apply the knowledge and skills that they have learned into practice to develop their startup ideas. The “Startup Idea Incubation” program in 2025 creates strong motivation for students in their startup journey. Students not only acquire specialized knowledge but also have the opportunity to connect with the startup community, thereby expanding their opportunities for cooperation and idea development, as well as becoming official students of specialized incubation programs at Vinh Long Business Incubator.
