Program Objectives – PO

The training program in the Economics major aims to meet the needs of employers and stakeholders. Specifically, the Economics curriculum focuses on training students to:

PO1. Evaluate the effectiveness of foreign economic policies for businesses, localities and countries;

PO2. Take charge of developing economic development investment projects associated with businesses and localities;

PO3. Take charge of scientific research, proactively pursue life-long learning; cooperate, work independently, self-direct; solve problems; lead professionally; adapt to the integration environment;

PO4. Enhance legal compliance, professional ethics in business activities and social responsibility.

Job position

After graduation, graduates can work at state management agencies, research and training agencies in the field of foreign trade economics, employees in import-export enterprises with job positions such as import-export staff, staff of export and import goods document department at Forwarder companies and shipping lines, staff specializing in customs procedures and import-export taxes, staff managing transportation operations, shipping and logistics business staff, etc. Employees in foreign-invested enterprises, commercial banks, Vietnamese trade representative agencies abroad, multinational companies, international organizations.
