Among the activities towards celebrate the 5th anniversary of Tra Vinh university (19/6/2006 – 19/6/2011) and ten years applying community College model, at 6.30 p.m June 6th, 2011 Faculty of Linguistics- Southern Khmer Art Culture and Basic Science held a talk under the theme “Methods of studying and contacting students”
Attending the talk were some representatives of Department of Student Affairs, Department of Testing & Quality Assurance, Department of Academic Affairs, HCM Communist Youth and Student Association. The participants of the Faculty were Mr. Nguyen Van Sau, MA., Dean, Mr. Pham Minh Trien, MA., Duputy Dean, staff members and over 300 students of the Faculty.
At the talk, students shared presentation of effective learning methods with the aim of exchanging experiences and learning methods in line with university environment.
With the text “Meeting students” and leaders of the units have received many questions from students regarding some of the content such as educational activities of the Faculty, School, and other policies to support students; regulations and conditions as graduation thesis … All questions were answered fully and enthusiastically.
Besides sharing the content, answer questions, the talk also had a cultural exchange program, arts, quiz content related to propaganda about the history of formation and development of TVU. On this occasion, Faculty Communist Youth granted gifts to the students with outstanding achievements in learning and active participation of the union movement of the Faculty Assembly, University.
The talk ended successfully, showing concerning of the Faculty Leadership for learning and practicing of students, and this is also the opportunity for the Faculty leaders to know, capture thoughts and aspirations of students, from which the methods and plans to organize appropriate training and gradually build the Faculty more growing.
