(TVU) – On November 18, the “Students’ bodybuilding” Competition in 2022 officially took place at Tra Vinh University. Thuan Van Thom, School of Medicine – Pharmacy excellently won the first place.
This is the first time that a bodybuilding tournament for male students has been held at Tra Vinh University, with the support of gyms, professional athletes in the province, and the participation of students with good health and fitness from Tra Vinh University, intermediate schools, colleges and students of high schools in Tra Vinh province.
Judges of the contest includes Mister National Universe 2022 Ngo Hoang Phi Viet; National Referee of Bodybuilding Le Huu Nhan; Weightlifter Nguyen Binh An, gold medal of the 2018 Asian Championships, broke the Asian record of 183kg. With the guidance from professional coaches, the contestants performed with their full confidence to show off their beautiful body to the judges and the audience to watch live.
At each round, the contestants will take turns performing on stage in 07 main poses as Showing the overall muscle groups seen from the front (Most Musclar); Front Lat Spread (Front Lat Spread); Side Chest muscle display; Rear Double Biceps (Rear Double Biceps); Back Lat Spread (Back Lat Spread); Side Triceps show; Show your abs and quads (Front Abdominal).
Mister National Universe 2022 Ngo Hoang Phi Viet said that the contestants had an attractive and impressive night and left a beautiful mark on bodybuilding with the coaches and judges. The contest is not only an attractive playground for students who are passionate about bodybuilding, but it is also an activity to motivate students to continue pursuing and practicing the bodybuilding.
Besides the contestant’s performance, the contest became even more exciting with the musical performances of singer Xuan Nghi (runner-up Theo Voice Vietnam 2012) and group X2X.

On this occasion, the Youth Union – Student Union of Tra Vinh University closed and awarded prizes to athletes and units with high achievements in the Sports Festival to welcome the opening ceremony of the school year 2022-2023, and the 40 years of Vietnam Teachers’ Day and the success of the 11th Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Tra Vinh province, term 2022 – 2027.
