Lecturers of Tra Vinh University took part in the 17th CDIO international conference hosted online in Thailand

(TVU) – On June 23, lecturers of the Engineering and Technology Faculty of Tra Vinh
University participated in an online session of the 17th CDIO International Conference
organized by Chulalongkorn University and Rajamangala University of Technology
Thanyaburi (RMUTT), Bangkok-Thailand. The conference took place from June 21 to June 23, 2021, via Zoom software.

There were nearly 150 articles of many authors who are researchers and scientists from more than 20 countries. The organization committee selected 67 articles to be published in full text in the conference proceedings. Tra Vinh University is one of two universities in Vietnam whose articles were selected to be published in full text in the yearbook and were invited to present at the conference by the organization committee.

The workshop was divided into several sessions focusing on the main themes of Advances in CDIO, CDIO Implementation, and Engineering Education Research.

The group of lecturers from Tra Vinh University reported in Session 15.1 with the theme of CDIO Implementation, chaired by Dr. Keng Wah Choo, Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) – Singapore. The lecturers clarified the viewpoint and shared experiences in project evaluation during the training and teaching process of the Information Technology program in the direction of the CDIO approach of Tra Vinh University. The CIDO conference is an international academic activity held annually to give CDIO members the opportunity to exchange experiences and share new research and innovations, contributing to the improvement of the CDIO implementation process. This was the second time in a row that Tra Vinh University attended the CDIO conference, thereby determining its position and image of Tra Vinh University to the institutions around the world.
