Music night to raise funds for students to overcome difficulties

TVU – On the night of January 7, before the new year, a musical program was held at Tra Vinh University to raise funds for students to overcome difficulties. The program attracted a large number of teachers and students of Tra Vinh University and Thai Thanh Hoa High School (Ca Mau) to attend.

At music night, the participation of many famous singers, including Dat Long Vinh; Artist Trinh Ngoc Huyen, who got the prize of Silver Bell in the music contest of “Chuông Vàng Vọng Cổ” (Golden Bell) in 2016 and Champion of the program “Đường đến danh ca vọng cổ” (Road to the famous Vọng cổ singer) in 2018; and actor, singer, and model Thanh Thuc made the New Year atmosphere bustling and warm.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Thach Thi Dan, Vice Rector of the School, deeply thanked businesses, benefactors, sponsors, and teachers for supporting and accompanying to take care of students, especially those in difficult circumstances. The University wishes to receive more attention and support from benefactors in the future.

Huynh Kha Mi, a Thai Thanh Hoa High School (Ca Mau) student, shared: “Coming to Tra Vinh University, we had the opportunity to attend a special musical program on the occasion of the New Year. I would like to thank the Tra Vinh University’s teachers and students for the warmest welcome and thoughtful arrangement so that we can take part in this meaningful exchange activity.”

 

The music program brought to the audience various genres of songs praising the glorious Party, great Uncle Ho, the homeland, the country and the people of Vietnam. Besides spreading the spirit of mutual affection, sharing with students who face many obstacles in their studies and life. It is one series of events to celebrate the Party and the Lunar New Year 2023 at Tra Vinh University.
