Seminar on Service – Trade development to create manufacturing business links for businesses

(TVU) – On August 22nd, Tra Vinh University coordinates with the Management Board of Tra Vinh Economic Zone to organize the Seminar on Service – Trade development to create business and production links for businesses “, which takes place at the Hall of the Management Board of Tra Vinh Economic Zone.

Attending the seminar, on the side of Tra Vinh province, are Mr. Luu Van Nhanh, Deputy Head of Tra Vinh Economic Zone Management Board, Mr. Lam Thai Hung, Deputy Director of Tra Vinh Department of Science and Technology, Mr. Cao Minh Tran, Vice Rector of Tra Vinh Vocational College and representatives of departments, agencies of Tra Vinh province and guest speakers. On the side of Tra Vinh University, there are Dr. Phan Quoc Nghia, Vice Rector of Tra Vinh University, Dr. Le Thi Thu Diem, Director of the Logistics and E-commerce Training Center, and representatives of units of the University attended.

The seminar adopts the enterprise’s presentation reports consulting policy on the development of trade and service and discusses the needs of enterprises. Moreover, this event considers issues related to service-trade development to create manufacturing business links for businesses.

In a presentation on improving operational efficiency and reducing supply chain risks for businesses, Mr. Bui Nguyen Quang Huy, Director of Supply Chain – Detmold Packaging Vietnam Co., Ltd., says solutions to help businesses solve supply chain problems.

Some solutions such as using forecasting and data analysis to provide a more accurate estimate of demand. Consider adopting flexible strategies to respond to changing needs.

Use information management systems and supply software to track and share product-related information from origin to consumption.

The delegates discuss development strategies, contingency plans for market fluctuations, investment policies, support for small and medium-sized enterprises, and the risks of businesses in the current context.”

At the seminar, Dr. Phan Quoc Nghia said: A seminar is a place where businesses and economic management agencies exchange and discuss service and trade issues to promote the province’s economy. At the same time, it creates opportunities for businesses to learn business and service management methods to meet demand in the current context.
According to the Vice-Rector, Tra Vinh province has the potential to develop the marine economy and the logistics industry to form a system of production and distribution of goods for the Mekong Delta region. From the available potential, the Logistics and E-commerce Training Center of the university was born with the function of training and developing human resources, providing professional and technical support to meet the set orientations.

Dr. Le Thi Thu Diem, Director of the Logistic and E-Commerce Training Center, said that the seminar is the basis for Tra Vinh University to combine the Southern Economic Research Center, Tra Vinh departments and agencies consult policies to support businesses, promote the development of businesses.
