On November 15, the School of Engineering and Technology under Tra Vinh University held a closing ceremony and awarded diplomas to 249 full-time and part-time students of the 2020, 2021, and 2023 training courses graduating in 2025.
This event is an opportunity to honor the academic achievements of new engineers and new bachelors, to look back on their hard work, to show gratitude to teachers and families, to identify new responsibilities to the community, and to mark the journey of establishing a career and contributing to society.
On behalf of Tra Vinh University, the ceremony was attended by Dr. Thach Thi Dan and Dr. Phan Quoc Nghia, School Vice-Rectors; Dr. Nguyen Tien Dung, Vice Chairman of the Advisory Council; Vice Principals of the School of Engineering and Technology; and representatives of leaders of units, representatives of businesses, partners, lecturers, academic advisors, and parents.

Congratulating the new engineers and new bachelors, Dr. Phan Quoc Nghia, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Rector of Tra Vinh University, acknowledged the students’ continued efforts in studying, training, and practical activities. Dr. Phan Quoc Nghia highly appreciated the School of Engineering and Technology’s role in training high-quality human resources with professional competence, solid pragmatic skills, and a deep understanding of engineering and technology.

According to the course summary report, during this period, the School awarded graduation certificates to 222 full-time students and 27 part-time students in the following majors: Environmental Engineering; Natural Resources and Environment Management; Traffic Construction Engineering; Information Technology; Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology; Mechanical Engineering Technology; Construction engineering technology; Automotive engineering technology; Chemical engineering technology; Control and automation engineering technology.

The new engineers achieved good academic results, and many of them got excellent results in studying, practicing, and researching. Notably, the School recorded 40 students graduating with honors and excellent grades, demonstrating the quality of the training and the students’ efforts.
With knowledge, professional skills, foreign language ability, creativity, and integration, the new engineers and new graduates are expected to become factors contributing to the economic development in the Mekong Delta region, closely connecting the School and businesses, and participating in community projects to support sustainable development.

Representing the new engineers and new graduates, Duong Trung Hieu, majoring in Information Technology, was moved to share his learning journey, memorable moments with teachers and friends, and his deep gratitude for the support from family, the School, and businesses. Trung Hieu pledged to make every effort to contribute, applying the knowledge he has been equipped with to contribute to the community and society.

At the ceremony, Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development (BIDV) – Tra Vinh Branch awarded 04 scholarships, each worth 05 million VND. LIM A – HANSAN My Tho International Aesthetics Co., Ltd. awarded 10 scholarships, each worth 02 million VND, to students of Tra Vinh University to encourage them to overcome difficulties and achieve excellent results in training and studying.

On this occasion, the School honored and rewarded new bachelors and engineers who achieved high standing throughout the course.
Same day, Tra Vinh University organized a Job Fair for students. This year, more than 22 companies and businesses participated, offering about 3,000 job positions.
