(TVU) – On August 30, 2023, the External Evaluation Team from the Bureau Veritas Certifications Vietnam (BVC) conducts the regular assessment of the Quality Management System according to ISO 9001:2015 Standard for the year 2023 at Tra Vinh University.
The External Evaluation Team (EET), headed by Mr. Pham Phi Long, includes Mr. Tran Vu Quynh and Mr. Le Truc Phuong as supervisory members.
They meet and work with Dr. Thach Thi Dan, Vice Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Diep Thanh Tung, Vice Rector, along with representatives from various departments under the university.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Diep Thanh Tung, Vice Rector, emphasizes the role of regular assessments of the Quality Management System according to ISO 9001:2015 in supporting the continuous quality assurance and improvement of the university. He commits to the serious and effective implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 standard.
The EET assesses various aspects by reviewing documents, records, and evidence; inspecting physical facilities; surveying working conditions, teaching, research, learning, and living conditions of university staff, lecturers, and students; checking equipment and tools for practical work and experiments; reviewing management and teaching software; holding discussions with university leadership; conducting interviews and collecting opinions from departments under the university.
At the closing session, Mr. Pham Phi Long, the EET representative, acknowledges the results achieved by the university in terms of training, management, and service provision over the past period. He provides important recommendations for the university to address limitations and challenges. He hopes that, after the assessment process, the university will maintain and improve the effectiveness of the Quality Management System according to ISO 9001:2015 in the future.
Dr. Thach Thi Dan, Vice Rector, expresses gratitude to the EET for their collaboration with the university in the quality assessment of educational facilities and training programs. Tra Vinh University continues its efforts to develop and enhance the quality of education, further serving the community based on the EET’s recommendations.
