VECOM partners with Tra Vinh University on E-Commerce training and activities

(TVU) – The Vietnam E-Commerce Association (VECOM) holds a working session at Tra Vinh University (TVU) to discuss e-commerce training programs, the association’s activities in the e-commerce field, and potential cooperation opportunities between the two parties.

In attendance are Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Dung, Chairman of the Vietnam E-Commerce Association (VECOM) and Member of VECOM’s High-Level Advisory Council; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung, Head of VECOM’s Southern Representative Office; Mr. Nguyen Tan Phong, Secretary General of VECOM; Mr. Tran Van Trong, Deputy Secretary General of VECOM; Mr. Nguyen Minh Duc, Deputy Head of Communications at VECOM; Mr. Duong Minh Thong, Director of the Vietnam Artificial Intelligence Application Research Center; Mr. Wilson Lieu, Senior Legal Consultant at VECOM’s Legal Consultancy Center; Mr. Tran Minh Hiep and Trainer from Haravan Technology Joint Stock Company; and Mr. Le Hong Duc.

Attendees from Tra Vinh University include Assoc. Prof. Dr. Diep Thanh Tung, Vice Rector of Tra Vinh University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Nguyen, Principal of the School of Economics and Law, and Mr. Nguyen Van Vu An, Director of Tra Vinh Province’s Business Incubator and Innovation and Startup Center.

At the working session, both sides share information about Tra Vinh University’s e-commerce training programs, VECOM’s activities in the e-commerce field, and the Network of E-Commerce Training Institutions. They also discussed potential collaborative activities soon.

Opening the program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Diep Thanh Tung, Vice Rector, introduces Tra Vinh University and its specialized majors. The university always creates opportunities for students to continuously learn and develop their strengths in alignment with their fields of study through cooperative training programs jointly with businesses.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Dung, Chairman of VECOM, states that currently, over 40 members participate in the network of e-commerce training institutions. In the future, the association will continue collaborating with universities to connect students with employers and businesses, allowing them early access and more robust interaction with companies.
