The Visit of Delegation of Cambodian Technology Institute (ITC)

In the morning of April 11th, 2011, the delegation of ITC led by Dr. Chunhieng Thavarith – Vice Dean – had a visit at TVU. Nguyen Tien Dung, MA. – Vice Rector of TVU, teachers and over 100 students of  Khmer at the university expressed their warmest welcome to the delegation.

The visit aimed at introducing to TVU students some kinds of scholarships offered by ITC for Vietnamese students, including two full scholarships for TVU students in some majors such as construction, electricity, IT and so on. Scholarship applicants were required to use Cambodian fluently.

ITC would hold an interview to select two scholarship awardees within August 2011 reported the delegation. In addition, the institute will also offer more scholarships for the master degree if the applicants successfully complete and expect to pursuit post-graduate education.

 
With the introduction of the delegation, TVU students have had an opportunity to approach useful information on training programs available at ITC; that enabled them to feel more confident to submit their applications and well-prepared for the upcoming interview.

After meeting with students, the delegation had a discussion with the leaders of the faculty of Technology and Engineering of TVU around planning and developing some projects in technologies and the application of technology in the treatment of hepatitis.

The visit promoted consolidating the cooperation between ITC and TVU. That was also a basis for sustainable development between the two organizations to gradually reach the goals of providing highly qualified resources to the areas of Me Kong Delta in coming years.
