(TVU) – Automatic hand-washing devices made by Diep Phuoc Trung, a former student of Tra Vinh Laboratory School, TVU and Huynh Quoc Toan, a 12th grader of Hoa Minh High School, Tra Vinh Province have been put into use.

These devices work very stably with optimal accuracy, especially they are convenient for users as they automatically spray a certain amount of disinfectant without pressing any button, thereby minimizing surface contact during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Mr. Le Phong Du, Vice Principal of Tra Vinh Laboratory School, who is the instructor of this research group, said: “Currently, the research group is continuing to develop more devices to measure body temperature from afar and these devices will be completed soon”.

It is known that the two students won the valuable prizes in National Science and Technology Competition 2019 for high school students. Diep Phuoc Trung achieved the second prize in Embedded System while Huynh Quoc Toan obtained the first prize in Robotics and Smart Machines.
