On January 8th, 2012, the Opening Ceremony for classes of upgrading university level majoring in Accoutancy and Law was held at Soc Trang Community College (STCC) with the attendance of Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung- Vice Rector of TVU, Mr. Le Binh Nguyen, Mr. Nguyen Van Trieu- Vice Rectors of STCC, leaders of related departments and 799 new students.
Approved by Soc Trang People’s Committee and with the coordination of STCC, TVU organized the entrance exam for classes of upgrading from two year college level to university level for majors of Accountancy and Law. There were 799 candidates passed the exam and would attend the courses in Soc Trang.
On behalf of TVU Rector Board, Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung thanked STCC Rector Board for their coordination and support in opening these classes. He also encouraged the new students to follow the training Rules and Regulations, to overcome their own difficulties to attend the classes and to be active and creative in learning to acquire better knowledge.
At the Ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Trieu- Vice Rector of STCC confirmed that STCC would continue to coordinate and to support TVU in training and fostering the human resource for Soc Trang Province to get the highest result.
On behalf of 799 new students, Mr. Tran Van Tuan expressed their gratitude to the Rector Board of TVU and STCC that helped them take these classes and promised to follow all the regulations and to study with their strive for best results.
After the Ceremony, these students would have classes which was planned from January 4th, 2012.
