On August 13, Tra Vinh University organizes a delegation to visit, encourage and donate essential daily necessities to support people in the blocked and isolated areas due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic in Tra Cu, Duyen Hai, Cau Ke districts and three wards in Tra Vinh city.
Ms. Quach Thi Vu Hue, President of the Workers Trade Union of Tra Vinh University, said that the number of gifts awarded in this round was worth over 85 million VND, the funding was mobilized and contributed by officials, union members and laborers working at Tra Vinh University.
In which, 240 parts of necessities were given to disadvantaged households living in isolation and blocked areas due to the covid-19 epidemic in 03 districts. And 70 parts of necessities were given to poor and disadvantaged people of 03 wards in Tra Vinh city. At the same time, 08 parts of necessities to doctors and patients at 07 temporary hospitals and isolation areas of Tra Vinh province.
