In the morning of November 23, 2011, TVU Youth union coordinated with Tra Vinh city Red Cross, Student Affair Office and Dormitory Management Board to held a blood donation session in TVU staff and students. Blood donation is one of the practical and passionate volunteer movements carried out in many recent years.
“In the school year 2010-2011, TVU Youth Union launched in TVU staff and students to donate 2155 units of blood donors. This year, for the first campaign, the total number is 230 units of blood donors in which the number of staff is 09 and students are 221.”- said Mr. Phan Huu Phuc-Deputy Secretary of TVU Youth Union.
Ms. Dao Nhu Thao, an officer of Administration office stated, “This is the fifth time I donate blood and I think the blood donation is a very meaningful thing which all Vietnamese youth should do.”
Voluntary blood donation to save lives is a noble action which TVU Youth should maintain this movement as a good behavior to help people.
