In the morning of February 1st, 2012, the groundbreaking Ceremony of the Faculty of Linguistics and Southern Khmer Culture located at 126 Highway 53, ward 5, Tra Vinh city, Tra Vinh Province was held by TVU.
The attendants of the ceremony were Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh- Rector of TVU, Head of construction management board, other members of TVU Rector Board, Mr. Tran Hoan Kim – President of TVU Advisory Council, Mr. Truong Hoang Hiep- Vice director of Tra Vinh project management of Civil and Industry construction Board, Mr. Bui Minh Huan- Vice Manager of Design Architect company, leaders of the Faculty of Linguistics and Southern Khmer Culture and other heads of TVU offices.
The Faculty of Linguistics and Southern Khmer Culture will be constructed with the management and controlling of TVU, Tra Vinh project management of Civil and Industry construction Board, An Hoa Construction Company, etc. The total construction area is 1.836 m2 with one ground floor and three floors.
