TVU Hospital significantly impacts local healthcare through a community outreach initiative, offering free medical examinations, medications, and gift sets to disadvantaged households and policy-beneficiary families in Tan Hiep Commune, Tra Cu District, Tra Vinh Province. The program, organized by TVU Hospital in partnership with its Branch No. 9 of the Trade Union and Youth Union, represents a 90-million-VND investment in community health.
The initiative reaches more than 270 individuals, providing medical consultations alongside 270 gift sets and 40 health insurance cards. Mr. Lam Thai Hoa, Secretary of the Tan Hiep Commune Party Committee, commends the program as “meaningful and practical,” highlighting its embodiment of volunteerism and collective dedication to community well-being.
Dr. Tran Ngoc Sau, Deputy Director of TVU Hospital, appreciates key sponsors, including BIDV Bank – Tra Vinh Branch, TV.PHARM Pharmaceutical JSC, and the K18B8.TV Advanced Political Theory Class. He also acknowledges the valuable contributions of the hospital’s staff, medical professionals, and doctors in ensuring the program’s success.
The initiative is a concrete step toward enhancing healthcare accessibility for disadvantaged households and policy-beneficiary families in the region. Looking ahead, TVU Hospital plans to expand its charitable programs through continued collaboration with sponsors and various organizations, furthering its commitment to social welfare and community service.
