The Grand Finale of The Voice TVU 2025 took place with 12 elaborately and professionally staged performances, bringing a vibrant musical showcase full of color, youthfulness, and the distinctive spirit of Tra Vinh University students.
The event welcomed the attendance of Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Huong, Deputy Secretary of the Vinh Long Provincial Youth Union; Dr. Thach Thi Dan, Vice Rector of Tra Vinh University; Mr. Nguyen Van Long, Chief of Office of the Party Committee; Ms. Pham Le Phuong Thao, Standing Member of the Provincial Youth Union, Vice President of the Vinh Long Provincial Student Association, Secretary of the TVU Youth Union, and President of the TVU Student Association; members of the TVU Youth Union Executive Committee, Student Association Executive Committee, leaders of university units, sponsors, the 12 finalists, and a large audience of staff, lecturers, and students.
The Voice TVU 2025 is part of a series of activities celebrating the 43rd Anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20, 1982 – November 20, 2025) and the 20th Anniversary of Tra Vinh University (June 19, 2006 – June 19, 2026).
According to the Organizing Committee, the contest was launched in September and open to all full-time TVU students and high school students, aiming to identify and foster musical talent across Vinh Long province.
The 2025 competition attracted more than 200 registered contestants. After the preliminary round, the blind audition, and the battle round, the 12 best performers were selected for the Grand Finale.
With this year’s theme “Free Style,” the contest aims to discover and support students with vocal talent, helping them develop confidence in stage performance, improve adaptability, and enhance overall artistic skills. It also creates opportunities for them to shine in cultural activities both within and beyond the university.
The final performances were outstanding, featuring impressive stage setups, costumes, lighting, and professional sound design—delivering a memorable and colorful musical night. The judging panel highly praised the overall quality of the contestants, highlighting their youthfulness, creativity, and strong expression of love for their homeland and country.
The Grand Finale judging panel consisted of experienced experts and artists in music, culture, and arts training: Dr. David Nghiem – Founder & CEO of Talented Minds Agency (TMA), Editor Le Van, Musician Ha Son, Singer Ngoc Hue, Singer Nguyen Trung, Runner-up of Solo Cung Bolero 2017.
Representing the judging panel, Dr. David Nghiem congratulated the organizers on a successful 5th season of The Voice TVU, commending the vibrant, youthful performances and the contestants’ strong passion for singing across a diverse range of musical genres.
At the conclusion of the event, the Organizing Committee awarded 13 prizes, including: 01 Champion, 01 First Runner-up, 01 Second Runner-up, 03 Third-place Winners, 06 Consolation Prizes, and 01 Popularity Award.
Nguyen Huynh Minh Phat, a student of the 2024 cohort in the Medical Imaging Technology program, delivered an excellent performance that impressed the judges and was crowned Champion of The Voice TVU 2025.
