(TVU) – On October 26th, 2021, Tra Vinh University cooperates with the Department of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs, the companies and enterprises in Tra Vinh province to organize the seminar “Improving the competitiveness of enterprises in the new condition.”
The seminar takes place with the participation of Mr. Duong Quang Ngoc – Deputy Director of the Department of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs; Mr. Huynh Ngoc Xuan – Director of the Industrial & Trade Promotion Center; Mr. Pham Van Be Sau – Deputy Director of the Investment Promotion Center – Department of Planning and Investment; Mr. Bui Thong Nhut – Deputy Director of Department of Information and Communications of Tra Vinh province; Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa – Vice-Rector of Tra Vinh University; the representatives of the Office of the Provincial Party Committee, the Public Administration Center and relevant provincial departments; the representatives of many companies and enterprises in the province; and the leaders of faculties, departments, and centers of Tra Vinh University.
There were 16 speeches presented in the seminar, including 9 presentations from the management agencies in Tra Vinh province, lecturers of Tra Vinh University, and 07 presentations from the representatives of the companies and enterprises such as TV. Pharm Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, My Phong Leather Shoes Co., Ltd., Sunrise Tra Vinh Foreign Language and Informatics Center, Labour and Expert Export Service Joint Stock Company (Suleco), Esuhai Co., Ltd., J&H Vina Co., Ltd., Mien Nam Vocational Education, and Human Resource Development Center.
The discussion deals with a number of urgent issues, including job creation and vocational training for the employees of enterprises in the context of Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control in the province, accelerating digital transformation in the “post-Covid-19” period, trade promotion to support the enterprises, supporting administrative and legal procedures, solutions to promote the start-up movement to develop business, solutions to improve the competitiveness of enterprises in the new condition, and the activities to take care of workers’ lives.
Innovating and reforming policies are considered the necessary requirements in creating changes in line with the development and meeting needs of enterprises, thereby promoting the improvement of the competitiveness of enterprises, progressing to improve the provincial competitiveness (PCI).
“The seminar is a forum for enterprises to meet and share their advantages, difficulties, recommendations and proposals to improve further the business ecosystem, government, and organizations of providing services, thereby strongly promoting the effectiveness of local and regional business support services.” Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, Vice-Rector of Tra Vinh University, said.
