TVU – On December 2, 2022, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Diệp Thanh Tùng, Vice Rector of Tra Vinh University had a meeting with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Tra Vinh province and Orlar Vietnam Joint Stock Company to exchange directions and opportunities for cooperation in application projects between Orlar’s high-tech agricultural farming techniques and TVU.
The Orlar Company proposed three finest options for the greenhouse project: installing a solar battery system, backup generators, and 3-phase currents. During the system installation and construction, the project will also set up a team of experts to assess the works, and risks as well as experiment with water and soil sources to ensure the safety of agricultural products.
Ms. Nguyễn Ngọc Hà – Representative of the Tra Vinh Department of Agriculture and Rural Development expressed her encouragement for the project and appreciated the value of saving energy, land, and water resources when applying technology and agriculture techniques.
The delegation visited the experimental area of TVU. The two sides exchanged and agreed on technical issues to build a suitable research model.
The TVU and Orlar’s hi-tech agricultural application project promises to bring up high-quality agricultural products, create a learning and research environment for students, and provide precious value to the community in the adaptation to climate change.
