On December 12, 2011, Dr. Nguyen Minh Chau- Rector of Ha Tay Community College, Vice President of VACC and the delegation visited and worked with TVU. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh- Rector of TVU, President of VACC, Mr. Le Van Don- Vice Rector of TVU and other Heads of TVU Departments welcomed the delegation.
This is the first visit of HaTay Community College to TVU in order to exchange and learn some experience in application community college model. The delegation also visited other institutions as members of VACC such as Kien Giang Community College, Hau Giang Community Collge, Dong Thap Community College.
At TVU, the delegation was introduced about the community college model applied at TVU, its organizational structure, its training programs and the current facilities at this university. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh said that although TVU was upgraded to a university, it has still applied the training model serving for community, particularly for enterprises inside and outside the province.
On behalf of the delegation, Dr. Nguyen Minh Chau thanked TVU for its warmest welcome to him and the delegation. He confirmed that this visit would be very helpful for Ha Tay Community College in applying Community College model and created the close relationship among members of VACC.
