On December 26, 2011, the delegation of Soc Trang Depatment of Education & Training (DOET) included Mr. Kim Son- Vice Director, Mr. Thach Tinh- Principle of Pali School and other delegates came and worked with TVU. Mr. Vo Hoang Khai- Vice Rector of TVU, Mr. Kien Quan- Vice Director of Tra Vinh DOET and some representatives of TVU Departments welcomed the delegation.
At the meeting, the participants discussed about the cooperation in training, developing the teaching capacity Khmer philology for teachers in Soc Trang Province.
Having deep understanding on the training capacity and potentiality especially teacher training, Mr. Kim Son stated that it is very essential for both Soc Trang and Tra Vinh to train Khmer teaching staff. He expected that Tra Vinh DOET will cooperate and support Soc Trang DOET to fulfill this mission.
Mr. Vo Hoang Khai – Vice Rector of TVU expressed his pleasure to the visit of the delegation of Soc Trang DOET and hoped that the cooperation of the two institutions would reach to an agreement soon to get the training target.
