Tra Vinh University welcomes and works with Mitsubishi Electric Viet Nam

(TVU) – On May 24, Tra Vinh University welcomed and worked with Mitsubishi Electric Viet Nam (MEVN).

On the side of MEVN, there were Mr. Kiyotake Kitamura, FAI & FAP; and Mr. Le Van Dong, FAI & FAP Vice Manager. On the side of TVU, there were Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, Vice-Rector of Tra Vinh University, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thai Son, Dean of the School of Engineering and Technology; Dr. Pham Quoc Phong, Vice Dean of the School of Engineering and Technology; and Dr. Cao Phuong Thao, Head of the Electrical and Electronics Department.

On this occasion, Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa expressed gratitude to MEVN for their companionship and care during the past time and requested the School of Engineering and Technology to maintain strong ties with MEVN in improving teaching quality as well as job opportunities for students.

At the meeting, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thai Son reported about using equipment packages sponsored by MEVN in teaching, learning, researching, and training for partners outside TVU. At the same time, he proposed further sponsors from MEVN for improving training efficiency and quality, aiming to establish the Mitsubishi Automation Solution Center at TVU. Also, TVU sent an invitation to MEVN to participate and sponsor the scientific conference “Research in Engineering and Technology – RET2022” at TVU in August 2022.

MEVN highly appreciated the activities that the School of Economics and Technology has implemented, especially in using Mitsubishi equipment and organizing external training. At the same time, Mr. Le Van Dong said that MEVN accepted TVU’s funding proposal and would continue to accompany TVU in the future. As for RET2022, MEVN will send representatives to participate and will discuss with TVU sponsoring the conference.
