TVU – On December 20, 2022, Dr. David Nghiem – Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Global Wireless Technology Corporation, USA, visited and worked with Tra Vinh University on the development orientation of scientific research products.
Dr. Thạch Thị Dân – Vice Rector of Tra Vinh University, Mr. Tran Thi Cuc – Head of the Student Affairs Department, and representatives of faculty leaders, attended the meeting.
Dr. Thạch Thị Dân, Vice-Rector, appreciated Dr. David Nghiem’s contributions to the school for many years. The meaningful activities of Dr. David Nghiem have contributed to the overall development of the University. On this occasion, Dr. Thạch Thị Dân also expressed her deep thanks to Ms. Vũ Hồng Hạnh (Australian overseas Vietnamese) for sponsoring scholarships for the University’s students on this business trip.
At the meeting, the representative of the Engineering and Technology Faculty shared about the training model, the application of technology in practice, and the future development plans of the Faculty and the University.
At the same time, the two sides visited the Labs and MakerSpace building – a space for students and lecturers to innovate, to learn about potentials and opportunities for cooperation in engineering and technology.
On this occasion, Dr. David Nghiem and Ms. Vũ Hồng Hạnh awarded 10 scholarships to 10 students overcoming difficulties in their life.
