TVU – On August 20, 2024, The College of Southern Khmer Language – Culture – Arts and Humanity (CLASKA), under Tra Vinh University, held a review conference for the 2023-2024 academic year. The event highlighted CLASKA’s notable achievements in student enrollment, scientific research, training, and business cooperation.
The conference is attended by Dr. Thach Thi Dan, Vice-Rector of Tra Vinh University, Dr. Vo Hoang Khai, former Vice-Rector, and representatives from various departments, centers, and the entire CLASKA faculty.
Key accomplishments in 2023-2024:

Organized enrollment and training in 13 undergraduate, 5 master’s, 3 doctoral, and 1 associate programs.

The Khmer Language undergraduate program received AUN-QA accreditation.

Current student enrollment exceeds 2,000.

Maintained high-quality assurance with regular updates to training programs based on the CDIO approach and international quality assessment.

Published 15 new textbooks and teaching materials.

Completed 5 internally funded research projects and had 7 ongoing projects.

Organized 4 conferences, 3 competitions, signed 3 cooperation agreements, and 1 project.
Future directions for 2024-2025:

Continue to improve the quality of high-quality human resource training for the local and regional areas.

Strengthen international cooperation and business partnerships.

Focus on student and faculty research, aiming for a 10% increase in enrollment targets for 2025.

Regularly review and update training programs, propose new majors, and increase textbook and learning material development, including question banks.
Dr. Ngo So Phe, CLASKA’s Rector, states the college’s commitment to these goals.
