(TVU) – The program has been organized to show the love for the homeland and express the young people’s responsibility toward the soldiers working at the border.
In March 2022, the delegation of Tra Vinh University cooperates with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Tra Vinh city to organize the program “To the borderland in March” at My Long Guard Post, My Long town, Cau Ngang district.
The lecturers and students graciously send their best regards and give gifts to the soldiers who are on duty to protect the Fatherland; at the same time, awarding 06 scholarships to the children of soldiers who are working at the Border Guard Post with a total cost of more than 3 million VND.
The activities play significant and practical meanings, creating an environment for the exchange and cohesion between the union staff and the soldiers working at the border post. At the same time, the activity also aims to propagate and educate the comrades and union members on the glorious tradition of Vietnamese youths in the cause of national construction and defense.
Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Pham Le Phuong Thao, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Tra Vinh University, sends her best wishes to comrades, soldiers, and professional soldiers of the border force of My Long Border Guard Post. She hopes that the activity could partly help the children in their learning and self-development and contributes to help the soldiers be steadfast in their noble work.”
By chance, the TVU delegation also visits the production areas of the soldiers at My Long Border Guard Post.
