(TVU) – On November 5, Tra Vinh University coordinated with the Department of Home Affairs of Vinh Long province to organize a scientific workshop on “Law and Digital Transformation in Enterprises”, which is a forum to enhance legal understanding, share practical experiences, and introduce solutions to help local units and enterprises apply digital transformation safely, effectively and in accordance with legal regulations. At the same time, this is also a practical activity in response to Vietnam Law Day 2025.
The workshop was attended by more than 150 delegates, including over 120 officials, lecturers and students of Tra Vinh University and nearly 40 delegates representing enterprises of Vinh Long province, including: Tra Vinh Water Supply and Drainage Joint Stock Company, Tra Vinh Urban Construction Joint Stock Company, Pungkook Ben Tre One Member Co., Ltd., Hangyang Electronic Vietnam Co., Ltd., Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., Ltd. branch in Tra Vinh, and many enterprises operating in the fields of industry, urban areas and services.
On behalf of Tra Vinh University, Dr. Thach Thi Dan, Vice Rector, and representatives from affiliated units were present.

Dr. Thach Thi Dan, Vice Rector of Tra Vinh University, emphasized that in the context of the country promoting the comprehensive digital transformation process, compliance with the law, ensuring information security, and operating a transparent and effective digital system are urgent requirements for businesses. Tra Vinh University consistently focuses on integrating training, research, and community service, while collaborating with state management agencies, businesses, and localities to enhance digital capacity, disseminate legal knowledge, and promote technology application to support the socio-economic development of the Mekong Delta region.


The workshop included 03 main topics: State management experience promoting digital transformation in enterprises – Practice of Vinh Long province, presented by Ms. Doan Thi Phuc, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Vinh Long province; Legal framework on digital transformation in enterprises, reported by Lawyer Dinh Thi Quynh Nhu, Director of An Luat Company Limited, Ho Chi Minh City Bar Association; Content of mandatory digital transformation in enterprises, presented by Dr. Nguyen Nhat Lam, Director of the Center for Artificial Intelligence, Head of the Faculty of Information Technology, School of Engineering and Technology, Tra Vinh University.


The presentations focused on analyzing the current situation, legal framework, and technical requirements in the process of digital transformation within enterprises, and simultaneously provided recommendations on implementation models in accordance with current legal regulations. The discussion was lively, with many questions and exchanges between experts, enterprises, and students, revolving around the difficulties, challenges, and practical solutions in the process of implementing digital transformation.
