(TVU) – On February 9, 2022, Tra Vinh University has welcomed students back to classroom learning after a long period of online learning due to the Covid-19 epidemic, particularly since this is the first time. This is the first direct admission for the new students in the course of 2021.
In recent days, a large number of students have returned to TVU at the same time, with the majority of them accompanied by their parents. Many students arrive from various provinces and cities, such as Tra Vinh, Vinh Long, Soc Trang, Ben Tre, Dong Thap, Ho Chi Minh City, Ca Mau, Kien Giang, and so on, bringing a variety of items such as mosquito nets, blankets, fans, rice cookers, and so on. Understanding students’ and parents’ concerns about ensuring safety and preventing Covid-19 epidemics in both study and daily life, TVU has meticulously prepared everything from medical declaration instructions to health monitoring, student housing arrangements, and hostel information.
In a spirit of dedication, warmth, and responsibility, teachers, students, volunteers, and TVU’s units welcome students back to study safely and effectively. The work of welcoming and supporting the transportation of students’ belongings begins at the University’s gate; the organizers carefully followed the instructions for admission procedures, dormitory accommodations, and the implementation of epidemic prevention measures.
“In order for parents and students to reduce the confusion and anxiety when their children return to study directly, all university staff and lecturers join hands,” said Prof. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh, the TVU Rector. Prepare carefully, stay close, understand and solve the problems that students and parents, particularly new students, face. Everything is done in the spirit of the University’s core values, which are “Dedication, Transparency, Creativity, and Friendliness.”
“This is my first time enrolling directly, my parents were a little worried so they took me to TVU,” Diep Huynh Nhu, a new student in the class of 2021, said. The parents can feel safe because of the attentive support of students and teachers, as well as the university’s green, clean, beautiful, and spacious learning space.
