Top 20 Golden Globe Science and Technology Awards in 2022

TVU – The Golden Globe Science and Technology Award is a noble award held by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union for young talents

The Award is for talented people with outstanding achievements in studying, researching, and working in Information Technology, Digital Transformation and Automation, Medical and Pharmaceutical Technology, Biotechnology, Environmental Technology, and New Materials Technology,  at home and abroad.

After a period of launching the Award, the Organizing Committee has received 37 quality applications to participate in the 2022 Award selection, including 10 ones in the field of Information Technology, Digital Transformation and Automation, 9 in the field of Medical and Pharmaceutical Technology, 3 in the field of Biotechnology, 5 ones in the field of Environmental Technology and 10 ones for New Materials Technology.

About the gender, there are 28 males and 9 females, including 29 doctorates, 6 masters, and 2 bachelors.

The youngest candidate was born in 1998 (24 years old), and the oldest one was born in 1987 (35 years old). There are 10 candidates studying, researching, and working abroad (Korea, Russia, USA, UK). Most of the participants are young scientists who are learning and doing research at higher education institutions and research centers in the country and abroad.

On the afternoon of September 26, 2022, at the headquarters of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Award Selection Council held the first session and agreed to select the 20 most outstanding applications. The Council will hold the second session at the end of October 2022 to choose the 10 best candidates to award the Golden Globe Science and Technology Award 2022.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet – Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Central Vietnam Student Union, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth Union, and President of the Central Committee of the Vietnamese Student Association said: “Among the 20 candidates this year, many individuals are leaders of national and international science and technology projects, whose topics have been applied in practice and reached high efficiency.. In addition, many scientific works, and high-quality publications in section Q1, have many patents, inventions, utility solutions, and many domestic and international awards and medals.
